  1. Honestly, I thought noise cancelling Headphones literally did JUST that. Didn’t realise you could listen to music and whatever through them at the same time. I thought they were construction workers etc… OK – opinion changed, off to buy a pair…. I really thought all they did was silence what is around you. In hindsight… I was being a bit dumb! Oops!

  2. What really happens it takes in all the outside noise and cancels that just essentially mute it instead of amplifying it
